Student membership for the Edinburg CISD is over 35,000 students and the District continues to grow at a rate of approximately 5% annually. The District offers a well balanced elementary curriculum with small classes which concentrate on strong oral and written language programs. Due to the proximity to Mexico, a bilingual program is crucial in helping many of our students cope with language and concept acquisition.
