Welcome to the Finance & Operations Division!

The office of Assistant Superintendent For Finance & Operations is lead by Dr. Rebecca Morrison. This division is responsible for the direct supervision and management of the business operations of the district. The division is composed of the following departments Finance, and Personnel. The Finance Department is lead by Miss. Sylvia D. Garcia, CPA, Director of Finance. The Finance Department encompasses Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Employee Benefits, Payroll Services, and Fixed Assets. The Personnel Department is lead by Dr. Rebecca Morrison, Asst. Superintendent for Finance & Operations. The Personnel Department encompasses Personnel Management Services, Personnel / Legal Issues, Pupil Services & Intake Discipline, PEIMS.

Tax Levy

This year’s tax levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year’s maintenance and operations tax levy.

EDINBURG CISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.

THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 12.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $ 100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $ 110.50
