The following robotic teams placed at the TCEA Area Competition on January 19, 2019:
Robocats from Escandon Elementary
3rd in the Elementary division and 4th place overall in Area 1 Arena
Powerbots from Escandon Elementary
1st in the ECISD district, 2nd in the Elementary division and 3rd overall in Area 1 Arena
Escandon Robotic's President, Lauren Trevino, will be part of the cover photo featured in Socialite Magazine.
Brewster School's Robotic Team
Brewster School's Arena 2 team received the 2nd Place trophy in highest score overall in the intermediate division
Panthers from Longoria Middle School
Danielle Silva and Evelyn Escalon got 1st place in Advance Invention
Francisco Espinoza and Yael Rodriguez got 2nd place in Advance Invention
Cristina Knight and Victoria Castillo got 1st place in Intermediate Invention
The students will be advancing to the TCEA State Robotics Competition in April 2019
