Edinburg CISD is proud to encourage our students, staff, families, and community to participate in the Viva La Mama 5K on May 9, 2026

This special event supports the Cynthia Jean Salinas Memorial Scholarship Fund, an initiative dedicated to honoring a life while empowering young women through education, awareness, and opportunity.

Through scholarships and education on healthy relationships, this fund helps build confidence, promote safety, and create stronger futures for the next generation. It’s a meaningful way for our community to come together and support a cause that truly makes a difference.
