Edinburg CISD is committed to providing distance learning instructional services and opportunities to our students, parents, and teachers in varied formats.  We appreciate your support, patience, and partnership during this time. 
 
As we move forward, additional information will be posted and updated for students and parents.  We recommend that students and parents continue to visit the ECISD Distance Learning Center web page and stay connected.

Computer Time - Students may access applications 
used at school.

Students and their families may choose to participate in the Distance Learning Program at their own pace or can follow the suggested schedules.  Learning schedules are flexible.

Students may work on the paper versions of the instructional packets and dedicate time to work on assignments..  We will continue to communicate information and updates for students and parents via email, text, and Skyward Family Access contact information, as needed.  Instructional support and services are set to begin on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Download PDF Versions of the Instructional Packets
Parents and students downloading the instructional lessons in PDF may print the lessons and dedicate time daily to work on assignments at home.  Instructional support and services are set to begin on Monday, March 30, 2020. 
 
 
Google Classroom and Microsoft Office 365

The District uses Microsoft Office 365 for staff and student email communication.  Google Classroom extends the learning and collaboration online for teachers and students.  Students will be able to communicate with their teacher and receive and submit assignments to their teachers.
 
Go to the ACTIVATE Your Google Classroom and Office 365 link on the side menu if you have never used your ECISD Google or Microsoft Office 365 username and password and ACTIVATE your ECISD email address (username) and password.
 
 
DocHub
 
NEW Video for Students and Parents: 
The DocHub App in Google Classroom allows you and students to type on digitally write on PDFs documents that are added in to your class. 

Install Option1:
  • Go to your Google Apps dropdown and More Apps from G-Suite and search for DocHub to add (DocHub is working to whitelist our District)
Install Option 2:
  • Open any PDF document your Google Drive.  Select DocHub from the Open With dropdown from Connected apps menu.
