Your family may qualify for no-cost, high-speed internet through a partnership with Edinburg CISD and Texas Education Agency Connect Texas (TEACT). Edinburg CISD and TEACT are committed to bringing reliable internet service to students.
What is TEA Connect Texas?
TEACT is committed to bringing reliable internet service to students throughout the state of Texas. Through TEACT, Edinburg CISD was able to purchase fixed broadband internet lines at a discounted rate. These lines are being offered at no cost to students and their families who meet eligibility requirements. TEACT is supporting the adoption and installation of these lines to families.
Eligibility Requirements
- Family home must be within Charter Communication/Spectrum service area
- Students must be currently enrolled in Edinburg CISD.
- Students must have no internet services at home.
- A parent/guardian must sign up online or through a hardcopy form.
Eligible households will be notified by TEACT. The TEACT team will work with Charter Communication/Spectrum and the household to schedule installation once approved.
