Edinburg CISD shared press releases and held a press conference to provide updates regarding Canterbury Elementary School after third-party cleaning crews determined the need for additional remediation in areas affected by flood water/sewage overflow. District officials outlined relocation plans for impacted students, confirmed the continuation of classes at Canterbury Elementary School in unaffected areas, and explained the comprehensive safety measures being implemented.

The following classes/grade levels will be attending classes at Freddy Gonzalez Elementary School beginning Tuesday, April 29, 2025, through Monday June 2, 2025.

Morning and Afternoon Transportation Bus Shuttles

ECISD bus shuttles will pick up designated students at Canterbury Elementary School at 7:30 AM in the morning for drop-off at Freddy Gonzalez.

ECISD bus shuttles will pick up designated students at Freddy Gonzalez Elementary School at 2:45 PM in the afternoon for drop-off at Canterbury.
