Edinburg CISD Staff and Students to Wear Running Shoes in Honor of State Champions

Edinburg CISD is asking STUDENTS AND STAFF to wear their Running shoes Tuesday May 16th 2023 in honor of ECISD's new Texas State Track Champions!!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Edinburg North High School student-athletes San Juanita Leal and Keyshawn Garcia for their extraordinary accomplishments at the 2023 UIL 6A Track & Field Texas State Championship Meet held at the University of Texas at Austin this weekend.

 

San Juanita Leal won GOLD in both the 1600M (4:47:36) & 3200M (10:19:19) to become the 6A Texas State Champion.

 

Keyshawn Garcia also conquered the Texas State Championship by winning GOLD in the 800M (1:51:53) race with an amazing performance.
