Overview
The Captain of Operations serves as a senior leader within the Edinburg CISD Police Department, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the department’s patrol division, special operations units, and critical incident response. This role is vital in ensuring the safety of over 34,500 students, 4,700 staff members, and numerous campuses across 942 square miles.

- Criminal Investigations Bureau
- School Resource Officer (SRO) Program
- Police Canine Division
- SWAT / Special Response Team (SRT)
- Communications Division
- Training and Patrol Division
